For assistants
We publish what we pay you.
You have probably worked for an agency that would not tell you what the client was billed. We tell everyone, on the website, including the clients. Here is how it works.
What we pay
Never less than 70 percent of what the client pays
Most agencies keep 60 to 70 percent of the fee. We keep 30 at most, and less when your experience earns it. Your pay depends on the role, not on how hard you negotiate.
| Role | You earn, monthly | In pesos |
|---|---|---|
| General VA | $1,260 | ₱73,000 |
| Real Estate VA | $1,260 | ₱73,000 |
| Health VA | $1,470 | ₱85,000 |
| Video & Design VA | $1,470 | ₱85,000 |
| Marketing VA | $1,575 | ₱91,000 |
| Executive Assistant | $1,680 | ₱97,000 |
| AI Automation Specialist | $1,995 | ₱115,000 |
Figures are for full-time work, 40 hours a week, at our entry client rate and converted at 58 pesos to the dollar. Your actual pay rises with the client rate for your role. The lowest figure here is roughly five times the CALABARZON minimum wage.
Benefits
Some placements come with full benefits
Most assistant work in this country is contract work with nothing attached. You pay your own SSS, your own PhilHealth, and you get no 13th month.
We give every client two prices. One is the standard rate. The other is 20 percent higher, which is $360 to $570 a month depending on the role, and covers your SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, 13th month pay and a health card in full. On that rate you are our employee, not a contractor.
We want to be precise about what that is and is not. It is the statutory package the law provides for, paid properly and on time, plus a basic health card. It is not an annual allowance, an eyeglasses budget, a counselling package or a bonus scheme. Larger agencies offer those and we do not, yet.
We tell clients exactly what that money is for. Plenty of them say yes, because for the client it is a small difference and for you it is the difference between contract work and a real job.
When you are offered a placement we will tell you which of the two it is, before you accept.
The A-rating
How we decide you are ready
We do not reject 99 percent of applicants and call it quality control. We take people who can do the work and we train them against a written standard. The standard is the same for everyone and you can see it before you apply.
Step 1
Apply
A form and a short writing sample. No unpaid test projects, ever. If we ask you to do real work, we pay for it.
Step 2
Two conversations
One about the work and the tools. One about how you handle a difficult week. Both with a person, not a bot.
Step 3
A paid trial task
Four hours of real work, paid at your full rate whether or not we place you. This is where most agencies take free labour. We do not.
Step 4
Certify
You train against the written rubric for your role and you pass it. That is your A-rating. It is reviewed yearly and it can be re-earned.
How we treat people
Things we will not do
We will not monitor you
No screenshots. No keystroke logging. No activity scores. You send a weekly summary of your work and that is the whole of it. We think surveillance software is an insult to a professional.
We will not ask for free work
Every trial task is paid at full rate. If we ask you to produce something a client could use, you are paid for it whether we hire you or not.
We will not blame you for a bad match
If a client ends a placement and it was not your fault, it does not touch your A-rating, we do not carry it into the next conversation, and you go to the front of the queue for the next opening.
Being straight with you
What we cannot offer yet
We are a new company and we would rather tell you this now than have you find out later.
There is no pay between placements. If a client ends a placement, you stop earning until we place you again. We are too young to carry that cost, and we would rather say so now than promise it and fail you later. What we do instead: we tell you the same day, your rating is untouched where the match was not your fault, and you go to the front of the queue.
We do not supply laptops. You work on your own machine. We will tell you the security we expect and help you set it up, but we are not buying equipment yet.
Most placements are contract work. The benefits option above is real, and we push for it, but the client chooses. We will always tell you which one you are being offered.
We are small. That means fewer roles on offer than a big agency, and it also means you will know the people who run the company by name.
